This has been a crazy year for me, lots of ups and downs emotionally but most interesting in the work world. I am, if anything, cliche so I thought I would do a quick year in review and talk about my goals for 2012. Why should you care about my goals in 2012, why wouldn’t you? Seriously though I think going about resolutions is dumb; day one, I am going to eat less COLD TURKEY! Next day you are just eating less cold turkey but hot out of the oven is ok! I like to approach my goals for 2012 like a work goal. Initiatives towards a goal I can achieve instead of stating some arbitrary new way of living.
Here are my initiatives that I will be writing about in more detail this month:
1) Be Cool. How to develop my cool and how it can effect those around me
2) Superman complex: your strength to help others
3) More Time for Tommy
4) Embrace your Id
5) Formal Fridays, Casual Mondays
6) Listen to 7 year old me
Hopefully there is something you can take from my introspective heavy lifting. February, because never let it be said Tom isn’t all about cliche’, is more sexy times with the single guy.
